Brazil had nine hotels mentioned in Forbes Travel Guide 2023, a travel guide that anonymously elects several properties worldwide.
The Hotel das Cataratas, which belongs to the Belmond group, was the only one in the country and South America to get the maximum score.
Eight other Brazilian hotels appear in the 65th edition of the ranking: some are rated four stars, and others appear as "recommended" (see below).
This year's list featured 48 new five-star hotels, 64 new four-star properties, and 45 new recommended hotels.
