RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Construction of the Brazilian Navy's first Tamandaré-class frigate will begin next September.
This is according to a visit by the Commander of Naval Operations, Fleet Admiral Marcos Sampaio Olsen, to the facilities of the Brasil Sul shipyard, which was acquired by the German company ThyssenKrupp in 2020, where he was able to see the status of work ahead of the construction of the first ship.
