Uruguay and Argentina resume air connection

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Montevideo and Buenos Aires on Tuesday (14) resumed their air connection through Aerolíneas Argentinas, two weeks after Uruguay reopened its borders to foreigners with properties in the country.

According to Aerolíneas Argentinas' regional manager for Uruguay and Paraguay Gastón De Chazal, there will initially be a flight on Tuesdays and another on Fridays. The flights will be operated in 96-passenger Embraer 190 aircraft.

The first of each day will depart from Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport at 8.50 AM (11.50 GMT), while at 10.30 AM (13.30 GMT) it will . . .
