Ex-president Michel Temer and Coronel Lima to be Released

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Superior Court of Justice (SCJ) decided this Tuesday to release former President Michel Temer (MDB) and João Baptista Lima Filho, known as Coronel Lima, from custody.

The ruling was set to take effect within hours, with conditions of release including the freezing of Temer's assets and the seizure of his passport.
