RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - At least five points of BR-163, in Mato Grosso, are blocked due to demonstrations on September 7 in support of President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday (7/9). In Rondonópolis, Cuiabá, Lucas do Rio Verde, Sinop and Sorriso, the highway is partially closed.
According to information from the concessionaire that manages the highway, Rota do Oeste, to RDNews, the first point of blocking is at Km 119 and started around 7:15 AM. In Cuiabá, supporters of the president are concentrated at Km 395.
