Paraguayans fully booked to visit Brazil: “There is a certain desperation to travel”

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The president of the Paraguayan Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism Companies (ASATUR) Carlos Cardozo said that the number of bookings to several foreign destinations has increased.

"There is a certain desperation to travel after almost 2 years of forced stop, many people left travel pending in 2020 and now add to those who want to do it," he said. He highlighted that southern Brazil is one of the most sought-after destinations due to its proximity and convenience. In addition, there is high demand for the Caribbean, Punta Cana and Cancun.
