RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The coordinator of the presidential security detail of Jovenel Moïse, Haiti's president assinated on July 7 at his home, was arrested this week suspected of being involved in the assassination of the head of state.
Jean Laguel Civil was arrested on Monday, July 25 in the neighborhood of Delmas in the capital Port-au-Prince. Summoned by the Prosecutor's Office to testify two weeks ago, the commissioner failed to appear before the authorities.
