Coronavirus: Uruguay and Argentina lead among countries with most deaths per population

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The two countries are followed by Paraguay, Colombia and Trinidad and Tobago, according to Our World in Data website.

Uruguay on Tuesday reached 14 consecutive days in first place in the world in the average number of Covid-19 deaths in proportion to its population. The country continues to be the hardest hit with about 15 deaths per million inhabitants, according to the Our World in Data website, which collects pandemic data from all countries and territories on the planet.
