CCR awarded Brazil Pampulha Airport at US$6.2 million auction

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazilian infrastructure company CCR won the Pampulha Airport in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) auction for R$34 (US$6.2) million, with a 245.29% premium, in a fierce dispute with Consórcio ASA. CCR is a partner of Zurich Airport, which manages the Confins international airport also in Minas Gerais

"CCR Aeroportos is consolidating itself in Brazil in this sector, mainly in Minas Gerais, where we already have the Confins concession. This is a long-term project," said CCR Aeroportos' CEO Cristiane Gomes after the auction.
