Carrefour to open positions for refugees in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On August 6 Carrefour Group will promote an initiative exclusively intended to hire refugees in Brazil. The plan is to fill as many openings as possible according to candidate availability and job compatibility.

Currently, the business conglomerate employs some 340 staff of over 20 different nationalities and, of these, more than 200 are in a refugee situation.

In order to qualify, one of the prerequisites is that the refugee professional identifies with Carrefour's purpose of contributing to a better world, implementing this approach in all their relationships.
