RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The 1.1% rise in the volume of services provided in Brazil in July compared to June pushed the services sector to operate at a level 3.9% higher than in February 2020, in the pre-pandemic period.
The data are based the Monthly Service Survey by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
In July, transportation operated 6.9% above the pre-pandemic, February 2020 level, while services provided to households were still 23.2% below.
