Brazil’s Copacabana Museum of Image and Sound may finally be completed

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The state government on Wednesday, September 15, published the first tender notice to resume construction at the site in the State Gazette.

In the publication, the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Works (SEINFRA) estimates an investment of over R$24 (US$4.6) million to complete the new cultural venue.

Interested parties must submit their proposals on October 21 at SEINFRA's headquarters in São Cristóvão.

After resuming works, the company must deliver the completed construction within a year. Five other smaller tenders are planned to complement the works.
