Brazil trade balance posts US$1.102 billion surplus in early October

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The amount is the net result of exports totaling US$6.183 billion and imports worth US$5.081 billion. In the month to date, exports reach US$7.899 billion and imports, US$5.971 billion, a surplus of US$1.929 billion.

According to SECEX, year-to-date exports total US$221.25 billion and imports total US$162.746 billion, with a US$58.504 billion surplus. The current trade balance totaled US$383.996 billion.
