Brazil has opened 150 new export markets for agricultural products since 2019

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has reached the mark of 150 new export markets opened for agribusiness products since early 2019. The most recent was the authorization to export fish to Mexico, which materialized earlier this week.

In July, access to 4 new markets was formalized. One of them was for the shipment of buffalo genetic material (semen) to Turkey. Brazil was also cleared to sell melon seeds to Nicaragua, Arabica coffee to Ecuador and coconut to Costa Rica.

A total of 42 markets have been opened in 2021, with products such as washed bovine mane to China, powdered chicken . . .
