COP26: Bolivia proposes funding programs to fight climate change

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - "We propose to create mitigation and resilience programs for developing countries with funds from developed countries, which have historically created this problem (...) the support should consist of economic funds and technology transfer," the president said.

The head of state insisted that for as long as the market is prioritized, humanity will not have the means to efficiently fight climate change, "even if our proposal is rejected, we will continue to insist because this is the right path for all," he added.
