Argentine tourists injured after helicopter crash in Florianopolis

According to the Fire Department, there were no serious injuries. The passengers were taken to nearby emergency care units.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Two Argentine tourists were injured when the helicopter in which they were traveling crashed. The accident occurred on the beaches of Canasvieiras, Florianópolis, Brazil.

The Argentine couple and the aircraft pilot sustained minor injuries and were taken to nearby emergency care units. This was confirmed by Military Fire Brigade First Lieutenant Roberto Rosa Machado.

According to the lieutenant, the first information is that "the pilot managed to land the helicopter relatively safely" near the beach shore. Although this area is typically crowded with tourists, no one on the beach was injured by the crash landing . . .
