RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Located in Rio de Janeiro's traditional Lapa district, the Museum showcases part of the broadcasting station's original collection, founded in 1936. Rádio Nacional do Rio de Janeiro will celebrate its 85th anniversary on the air next September 12.
Despite the inauguration, there are still no plans to open the space for in-person visits by the public. However, radio listeners may now take a virtual tour of the museum from the safety of their homes.
