RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Jazzmania, Tuesday nights at Arpoador's Studio RJ, have resurrected a weekly jazz tradition in Rio. The original Jazzmania, which was active between 1983 and 1994, not far from its new location, was a weekly must for for Rio's jazz aficionados.
In its heyday, the event was known for offering up some of the best in local and visiting acts - Herbie Hancock and Chet Baker among the legendary names that graced the stage in the event's original incarnation.
