RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The development of the new product stemmed from a request from the vendors to the IED - Istituto Europeo di Design ("European Design Institute"), which set up a group of teachers and students to research and study the subject.
Those who frequent the beach have their point of reference in the tents, called "barracas". It's the meeting point, the place where you spend a morning, or enjoy the sunset while drinking a caipirinha. Tent vendors realized they should enhance their work environment.
