Rio de Janeiro subway passenger volume up 117% in Q2 2021 over last year

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The three subway lines in Rio de Janeiro carried some 27,000 passengers per hour in the 2nd quarter of 2021, an increase of 117.5% compared to the same period last year. The figures were released by MetrôRio on Monday, July 5.
