In Rio de Janeiro state, 180,000 did not return for 2nd Covid shot; yet no one asks why

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The state of Rio de Janeiro has 180,000 people who, after the first application, did not return on the appointed day for the second dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

This statement comes from the Secretary of Health of the State of Rio, Alexandre Chieppe.

He also commented on another prediction of the Secretariat: that the Delta variant of the disease, which is more easily transmissible, will prevail in the state in the coming weeks.

He made these statements in an interview with TV Globo's Bom Dia Rio station on Tuesday (10).
