RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A girl and a woman were shot on Tuesday, September 24th, in Morro da Mineira, Catumbi, Central Region of Rio de Janeiro.
Vitória C., 11 years old, was rushed to the Souza Aguiar Municipal Hospital in downtown Rio. According to witnesses, she was shot in the leg while returning from school. The Municipal Health Department said her health condition is stable.
