Brazilian agribusiness ensures employment for 20 million workers

According to the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea), Brazilian agribusiness employs almost 20 million workers today.

Traditional in the sector, the institution belongs to the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, of the University of São Paulo (USP).

The data show that about half of this contingent is allocated to the primary sector. That is: in the operations that take place on the farm, popularly known as "inside the gate".
