Brazil and 9 other G20 countries recover from pre-pandemic GDP levels

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil and nine other G20 countries did well and have recovered from pre-Covid 19 pandemic levels of economic activity. Gross domestic product (GDP) data for 19 members of the country group are now available.

Brazil's GDP increased by 4.6% in 2021. This percentage was sufficient to reverse the negative economic impact of the health crisis. Another nine countries are in the red compared to current levels (after 2020 and 2021) with 2019 levels.
