Through a document released this Friday (Mar. 3) in Geneva, a group of experts from the United Nations (UN) equated the regime of Nicaraguan dictator and friend of Lula, Daniel Ortega, to the Nazi regime.
According to the experts, Ortega and his agents "have committed and continue to commit serious and systematic violations of human rights abuses."
"The use of the justice system against political opponents, as in Nicaragua, is exactly what the Nazi regime did," Council coordinator Jan Michael-Simon told journalists.
