(Opinion) How many NGOs are there in the Amazon?
I asked this question, I did some research and there are more or less 16,000.
Let's suppose that only 10% are in the Yanomami territory, which is the size of Pernambuco.
That would mean one NGO for every 12 Indians.
What is the interest of these NGOs?
They say that there are many religious NGOs, but obviously, in the region, there are cures for snake bites, for everything.
Then it ends up in research for the laboratories that sell us medicines. But there is also gold . . .
