Opinion: The biggest scandal in Brazilian justice is brewing

(Opinion) President Lula is setting up what may be the biggest scandal in the entire history of Brazil's Judicial Branch - the appointment of his lawyer, Cristiano Zanin, to one of the seats to be opened in the Supreme Court.

He would stay there until 2051 when he will turn 75 and would be forced to retire.

That will be almost 30 years as a Supreme Court Justice; Zanin, today, is 47.
