(Opinion) Kafka and his prophecies about the nascent world of modern bureaucracy are well known.
Bureaucracy is a system created to serve the people, supposedly, but, in fact, it exists to protect the State and the companies from the people.
The primary function of bureaucracy is to make you invisible and irrelevant.
And to make those who have power over you inaccessible and unaccountable.
Lawsuits that fall on your bed, bureaucrats in a castle that no one can reach, executions without justification, messages that go nowhere, human insects whose main fear is losing their jobs.
