The region is emerging from dramatic election wins for leftists in Brazil, Chile, and Colombia in 2022, sparking hope for positive change around issues such as inequality, climate change, and regional integration.
Meanwhile, the planet continues to grapple with the disruption caused by the Covid pandemic and the consequences of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
But as these black swans reshape the world we live in, there is a chance for LatAm to emerge as a real contender on the global stage . . .
