(Opinion) The year 2022 has been quite an event, and for Chile it has not been the exception. The constituent process was forcefully rejected, the ultra-leftist Gabriel Boric came to the Government, while the quality of life of Chileans has worsened.
However, the different political forces, instead of watching over the problems of crime, inflation, housing, migration, among others, preferred to end the year with an agreement that opens a constituent process 2.0. In this note we review the highlights of the 2022 political year in Chile.
