Trump claims education was hijacked by ‘pink-haired communists’ and vowed to vote them all out

Former President Donald Trump, now the Republican Party’s leading presidential candidate, released a video this week in which he criticizes public education for being taken over by “radical leftist maniacs” and promised to return power to parents.

“Here’s my plan to restore control to American parents. First, we will cut federal funding for any school or program that pushes critical race theory, gender ideology or other racial, sexual or political content inappropriate for our children,” Trump began by explaining in his video.

“I will order the Departments of Justice and Education to open civil rights investigations into any school district that has engaged in discrimination based on race,” he sentenced.

“The problem is that we have pink-haired communists who took control of our education and have a monopoly on teaching our children,” Trump said harshly.

Should he win re-election, his proposed plan includes “aggressively pursuing possible violations of free speech and religion in the classroom and implementing preferential funding for states and school districts that adopt a parental bill of rights.”

In addition, it proposed reducing the “bloated” number of school administrators and abolishing tenure for female teachers for grades kindergarten through 12, which will allow them to be easily replaced in public schools if they are found to indoctrinate children.

The plan would also grant preferential funding that school districts and states would get preferential funding if they “complete curriculum transparency and school choice.”

“The Marxism that is preached in our schools is also totally hostile to Judeo-Christian teachings and, in many ways, resembles a newly established religion,” he ruled.

He added: “We cannot allow that to happen. For this reason, my administration will aggressively pursue intentional violations of the establishment clause and the Constitution’s free exercise clause.”

He ended by attacking affirmative action discrimination, which allows African Americans to get into better schools and colleges with worse GPAs while penalizing the top performers, who tend to come from the Asian community.

“We are going to stop discrimination against Asian Americans,” the former president concluded.

Although there is still a long way to go, Trump leads the polls for the presidency in 2024, beating Biden by 5 points and Vice President Kamala Harris by more than 10.

The Democratic Party is analyzing a strong reinvention of its political line, presenting a younger candidate, given the strong fear of losing to the Republican leader in the next election.
