Opinion: Trump is counting on the end of the midterm election campaign to win a Republican majority

(Opinion) Former U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will hold four rallies in the states of Iowa, Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania to help Republicans ahead of the midterm elections set for Nov. 8.

Aiming to give the Republican Party control of the U.S. Congress, Trump has announced that these events will take place over the next five days.

Thus, following Thursday’s event will move to Sioux City, Iowa, then travel to Latrobe, Pennsylvania, two days later.

After that, Trump will travel to Miami for an event with Senator Marco Rubio and end his tour in Vandalia, Ohio.

All indications are that Trump is accelerating his plans for a new presidential campaign to gain more Republican support in the midterm elections.

The Nov. 8 midterm elections will determine which party will control both houses in the second half of Joe Biden’s term.

So Republicans’ expectations are much better than Democrats.

Today, polls predict a Democratic defeat in the House of Representatives, which is being completely renewed.

There are 435 members of Congress up for election, so the majority is 218.

In the Senate, 35 senators (out of 100) are up for election. Republicans are defending 21, and Democrats 14.

8 Senators will decide whether Republicans break the 50-50 tie, according to experts.
