Six people are missing after shipwreck off the coast of Rio de Janeiro

At least six people were missing after the shipwreck of a passenger boat in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, off the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, reported the Fire Brigade.

Twelve people were aboard the boat, six of whom were rescued alive, Rio de Janeiro Fire Brigade Commander General Leandro Monteiro told Globonews news channel.

The boat was traveling near Paquetá Island, located in Guanabara Bay when it was caught in the middle of a storm that affected Rio de Janeiro during the afternoon and early evening.

Tactical divers from the Fire Brigade were searching for the missing . . .
