RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - There are 181,898 positions for census takers, which requires elementary education level, and 22,409 for census agents, requiring high-school; pay is up to R$2.100 (US390).
The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) has reopened the awaited call for 204,307 temporary positions for the 2021 Demographic Census. The calls were published this Thursday, February 18th, in the Federal Gazette.
There are two selection processes and positions are spread across virtually every municipality in Brazil. The distribution of job openings and salaries is below:
