Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Exceed Six Million Worldwide

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Novel coronavirus infections exceed six million worldwide, according to the latest update from the Johns Hopkins University panel in the United States. In all, there are 6,003,762 people infected, with 367,781 deaths.

The United States continues to account for the highest number of cases and deaths as of May 30th: 1.77 million, and 103,605, respectively. Brazil now ranks second, with 498,440 confirmed cases, but fourth in deaths - 28,834.

Russia is the country in the European continent with the most critical situation in terms of confirmed cases, with 396,575 . . .
