“Argentina, 1985” wins the Golden Globe for best non-English language film

The film "Argentina, 1985" won the Golden Globe for Best Non-English Language Film on Tuesday (10th) at the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony, which is considered the forerunner of the Oscars.

Santiago Mitre's film, starring Ricardo Darín, which follows the trial of those responsible for the dictatorship in Argentina in the 1980s, won the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) award. “I want to share this with all the people who have fought and are still fighting for democracy in Argentina since the dictatorship.
