Uruguay will showcase its 2022 Carnival, the world’s longest, in Montevideo

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The cultural director of the Montevideo City Council, María Inés Obaldía, assured on Tuesday morning, August 24, that everything is ready for the traditional Carnival in the Uruguayan capital in 2022.

In December 2020, the government suspended the Rey Momo celebrations in the South American country due to the health situation caused by the Covid 19 pandemic.
