Paraguay’s cattle population has shrunk by a million animals

The Paraguayan cattle population amounts to 13.2 million animals and has thus systematically shrunk by one million animals since 2014.

This is according to figures from the National Service for Animal Quality and Health (Senacsa).

According to the latest Senacsa report, released on Saturday (21st), the landlocked South American nation recorded a total of 333,700 tonnes of beef exports, surpassing the 326,698 tonnes exported for all of the previous year.
