Guyana Nixes Taiwan Office After Beijing Criticizes “Mistake”

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Guyana on Thursday, February 4th, abruptly terminated an agreement with Taiwan to open a representative office in the South American country, hours after China urged Georgetown officials to “correct their mistake.”
