Colombian Capital Bogotá Implements New Measures to Prevent Crowds

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The mayor of the Colombian capital Bogotá announced on Sunday, December 28th, new measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 ahead of the Colombian professional soccer championship finals.

Mayor Claudia Lopez explained at a press conference that restrictive measures have been reinforced, such as the closure of the transportation system at 6:00 p.m. local time.

Restrictions on alcohol sales will also be put in place from Monday and any venues selling alcohol outside specified hours will be punished.
