The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Russia and the Supreme Electoral Council of Nicaragua signed a mutual collaboration protocol, reported the CEC.
"The heads of the Russian CEC and the Nicaraguan Supreme Electoral Council have signed a cooperation protocol," he published on his Telegram channel.
The CEC recalled that "Nicaraguan representatives attended the 2018 Russian presidential elections and the 2021 State Duma [Lower House of Parliament] elections as international observers."
