Brazilian Tourists Banned from Entering Argentina as of Friday

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In light of the growing number of Covid-19 infections in Brazil, Argentina has decided to ban Brazilian tourists from entering the country as of Friday, December 25th.

The ban will be effective at least until January 8th - and should the pandemic persist with worrying numbers in Brazil, the measure may be extended for a longer period.

Under the new rule, the pilot program that authorized access of foreign tourists from neighboring countries, including Brazil, through Ezeiza, San Fernando and Buquebus airports in Buenos Aires, is suspended until the beginning of January.
