Argentina highlights good dialogue with U.S. after Sullivan visit

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Foreign Minister of Argentina, Felipe Solá, highlighted this Monday the good political dialogue with the government of President Joe Biden after the visit to Buenos Aires of the U.S. National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan.

The degree of political dialogue with the United States “is excellent and trustworthy”, assured Solá in declarations to radio El Destape, published by the Argentine Foreign Ministry in a press release.

Solá affirmed that between the two countries, there is “great coincidence in some issues” and stated that the United States “respects the Argentine identity” and maintains “its historical positions of active neutrality, non-interference in internal affairs of other countries and respect for the defense of human rights.”

Regarding Sullivan’s visit, Solá highlighted the participation of the U.S. representative last Friday in the special meeting of the Economic and Social Council, where business people, union leaders, academics, and scientists took part.
