The number of tourists who sought out the Cape Verdean archipelago increased by 405.6% in the third quarter of the year, compared to the same period last year, according to data released today by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
According to tourism statistics, between July and September the country received 239,642 guests, a variation of 405.6% compared to the same period last year, with 47,398 tourists.
