Uruguay registers no deaths from Covid for the first time in 2021 (August 7)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Five months after the beginning of the vaccination campaign, the country of 3.5 million people has 73% of its population inoculated with at least one dose, while 64% have the complete scheme.

Uruguay did not record any death from Covid-19 on Saturday, which had not happened since December 2020, amid the slowdown of the pandemic in the country.
