São Paulo brings Covid-19 vaccination for 37-39 year-olds forward to Thursday

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The government of the State of São Paulo advanced to today, July 8, the vaccination against Covid-19 for people aged 37 to 39 years old. The immunization of this group was previously scheduled to begin next Thursday, July 15.

The schedule of the State Immunization Plan calls for the entire adult population of the state's 645 municipalities to have received at least one dose of a vaccine by September 15.

Yesterday, Governor João Doria announced the purchase of another 4 million doses of the vaccine Coronavac ready for immunization - 2.7 million . . .
