Peruvian Government lifts quarantine in extreme risk areas starting March 1st

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez on Wednesday, February 24th, confirmed that the Peruvian Government established a new nighttime curfew for the provinces under extreme risk due to COVID-19, which will run from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the next day. It also includes mandatory social immobility on Sundays.

During a press conference, the high-ranking official stressed that a slight slowdown is registered in the contagion rate, as well as in the number of related deaths.
