Over 1,000 municipalities in Brazil ran out of vaccines this week

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - More than 1,000 cities were left with no vaccines against Covid-19 this week. The information is included in a survey by the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM). The issue was reported by 1,002 municipalities, which represents 30.5% of the 3,287 municipalities consulted by the CNM.

Another 1,779, or 54.1%, did not report the failure to receive vaccines. Last week, 1,270 cities said they had run out of Covid-19 vaccines. Another 506 cities (15.4%) did not reply.
