RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Mexican Ministry of Health reported Sunday 7,573 new confirmed infections of Covid-19 and added 2,971,817 cases, 172 new deaths to reach 244,420, in the middle of the third wave of the pandemic in the country.
With these records, Mexico remains the fourth country globally with the most deaths from covid-19, behind the United States, Brazil, and India, and has returned to fifteenth in the number of confirmed infections, according to the Johns Hopkins University count.
