RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Guatemalan health authorities reported on Wednesday another 36 deaths due to covid-19 and 1,194 new infections in the last 24 hours.
According to the official report released by the Ministry of Public Health, the new cases of the coronavirus were detected after carrying out 7,955 tests on Tuesday, both in the public and private sectors.
With the 36 new deaths, Guatemala counts 7,642 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, in addition to 231,289 positive cases.
